GENERAL SUMMARY:
We are seeking a full time, onsite detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing the financial health of our organization, ensuring precise reporting, compliance with standards, supporting strategic decision-making and risk management to contribute to long-term goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance and external auditors, to gather necessary information, resolve complex accounting issues, and ensure accurate financial disclosures.
- Evaluate the impact of new accounting standards on financial reporting and assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Participate in the preparation and review of financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Provide training and guidance to staff members on technical accounting matters, and best practices.
- Aid in transaction sales tax determination.
- Assist in the coordination of external audits and reviews, including responding to auditor inquiries and addressing any audit findings or recommendations.
- Support special projects and initiatives, such as system implementations, process improvements, and internal control enhancements, as needed.
- Track and report on costs associated with capital projects, key performance indicators and cost saving activities.
- Other Duties as requested or required.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class B Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of machining operations, a strong understanding of precision equipment, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. This role involves operating a variety of machines to produce high-precision machine iron castings used in numerous sectors. The Class B Machinist will ensure that all products meet the required specifications while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, lathes, mills, grinders, and other precision equipment.
- Set up machines, calibrate tools, and ensure equipment is running to optimal standards.
- Program, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC machines for optimal operation.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Set up and operate manual machines as needed.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to produce parts and components.
- Use precise measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.) to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they conform to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform quality checks during and after machining processes to prevent defects.
- Select and install appropriate tooling for each machining process.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and other supplies.
- Ensure that the materials being used are correct and free from defects.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
- Report any machine malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues promptly.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Provide feedback on designs or tooling that could improve machining processes.
- Can effectively communicate with others and has a team-oriented mindset.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to machining operations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including machine setups, maintenance logs, and production counts.
- Document and report any deviations from standard operating procedures or quality issues.
- Identify areas for improvement in machining processes and suggest solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Participate in training programs and stay up to date on new machining techniques, tools, and technologies.
